Mojari or Jootis are the most popular traditional leather wear in Rajasthan. The most refined work is found in Jaipur and Jodhpur, which produces premium quality Jootis.
These are made by artisans mostly using vegetable tanned leather. The uppers are made of one piece of leather or textile embroidered and embellished with brass nails, cowries shells, mirrors, bells and ceramic beads.
